Contest closed. We have our winner! Way to go!

BSS winner

Wednesday, June 17, 2009, House of Anansi Press and Arts & Crafts will create sweet, sweet music for the official book launch of This Book is Broken: A Broken Social Scene Story by Stuart Berman. The launch is presented as part of NXNE and is guest list only.

To celebrate, we’re going to make ONE LUCKY WINNER very happy! The stakes: your name (+1) on the guest list!

Featuring performances by: Apostle of Hustle, Happiness Project, Years, Jason Collett, and “very special guests”. “VERY.”

How it works.

  1. check your calendar to make sure you’re available the evening of Wednesday, June 17
  2. follow us on Twitter @houseofanansi
  3. Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, we’ll roll out some pre-clues, which pave a path to a secret downtown Toronto location
  4. Monday, June 15, at 11:00 a.m., the clues will become clearer,  revealed every few minutes, until 12:30 p.m. when — Fingers crossed! — our Anansi rep will greet the first person to arrive! The winner’s name, plus one, will be added to the guest list for the NXNE event at The Court House.

HINT: The clues all point in one direction. The first clue is what you could call a “hintersection”. Put one foot in front of the other as the remaining clues appear and you’ll make a straight line toward the secret location! All clues will be posted as pics at House of Anansi’s TwitPic profile, and announced as they go up on our Twitter profile @houseofanansi.

Note: In the event of a tie, you will be asked to hand clap.

Stay tuned! Spread the word! RT!
